Event 1 (Elocution Competition)
Rules and Regulations:
-
A list of Topics for Elocution will be provided in advance by the college.
-
The candidate needs to speak on the topic provided to him/her on spot on the day of the competition.
-
The candidate will be given 3-5 minutes to speak on the topic provided to him/her on the day of the competition.
-
Delivery of Speech is allowed in English & Hindi Language.
-
Content of the topic should be self-made and not copied from anywhere. (Quotes & Reference from Poem or any writer supporting your content is permissible)
-
A candidate is not allowed to carry any electronic device or paper on the stage while delivering a speech.
-
Content of speech should not be such that it hurt the sentiments of any person.
-
Judges’ decisions will be Final and Binding.

Event 2 (Ad Mad Show)
Rules and Regulations:

It is a team event. Each team should have 4-5 members only.

List of Products for making an advertisement will be provided in advance by the college.

Advertisement should be prepared on spot on the topic provided on the day of competition.

Advertisement should be created for print media, FM as well as Television i.e., in written form (inclusive of the drawing), Audio form (Live or recorded), and Script form which is to be published on Televisions. (Live performance on stage)

Students are required to bring material if needed.
-
Preparation time of 1 hour will be provided to all the teams as soon as topics are allocated.

Time limit for verbal and scripted advertisement will be 1-2 minutes.

Content of advertisement should not be copied from anywhere.

Content of advertisement should not be such that it hurt the sentiments of any person.

Event 5 (Debate)
Rules and Regulations:

There are two teams, each consisting of two speakers.

Topic will be given in advance.
-
Each member must wait for their turn to speak. (Topic will be based on chit selection)

The format of speech will be as follows:
-
First affirmative speech : 5 Minutes
-
First negative speech : 5 Minutes
-
Question answer /Final Debate discussion : 10 Minutes
-

No revision of a team’s position is permitted during the debate. Each member must decide the flow of speech in advance. (i.e., who will come first)
-
In the questioning period, the questioner may ask any fair, clear question that directly bears the debate.

Rules and Regulations:

Team Size: 2

The student’s team will be allotted artificial Rs. 1,00,000 and artificial 15 shares on the day of the event.
-
Students will be informed about the name of the 15 shares, 24 hours before the event. So, Students can do research of respective shares and plan to buy and sell strategy on the day of the event
-
Instruction:
-
allotment of artificial cash and share will be done on the day of the event.
-
Trading time: 01 hour
-
Students need to buy/sell within the classroom among the participants only.
-
A minimum of 5 transactions is necessary.
-
The team with the highest value per the closing price of the day will be considered the winner.

Event 7 (Group Discussion)
Rules and Regulations:

A list of the topics for the group discussion will be given in advance.

Topic allocation for group discussion on the day of the event will be based on random chit selection.
-
The First 5 minutes will be given to all students for preparation of the topic.
-
After the preparation each student have to speak about the topic for 1 or 2 minutes. (One by one)
-
After the introduction part of the GD, all students are allowed to give their thoughts on the topic given for group discussion and start discussing with each other for at least 10 minutes.
-
Content of discussion should not be such that it hurt the sentiments of any person, religious, etc.

Event 8 (Sales Guerrilla)
Rules and Regulations:

Team Size: 02 students
-
It’s a team game. One team will face another team for the sales pitch.
-
Topic list of products will be given in advance.
-
One team will pick up product chit and present a sales pitch to convince the rival team.
-
Role of a rival team is to raise logical objections against the sales pitch of the other team.
-
Time: 03 minutes per team.
-
Then roles will be reversed and now the team with objections will now pick up a chit and do a sales pitch while another team will now raise logical objections.
-
Based on the quality argument in the sales pitch as well as the quality of logical objections winner will be chosen.
-
Judges’ decisions will be final and binding to all.

Event 9 (Mock Interview)
Rules and Regulations:

Students have to undergo aptitude test on a day of event.

Based on scores of aptitude test - top 10 students will be shortlisted for mock interview.

Mock Interview will be taken by panel members from corporate.
-
Few probable job profile will be given to students for which they want to apply.
-
Students need to apply for respective profile (only 1 profile per student) in advance with resume and required documents.

Registration will be given to you for the respective event.

College reserves rights to change rules and regulations of the event as per the situation.

We need two student coordinators and one student who will do anchoring for the respective event.

Students are requested to be present in the institute for the preparation of the event from 25/03/2022 to 02/04/2022.
